Puppy Parties
If you have a puppy and would like to refresh your pet care skills, Coastway puppy
parties are perfect for you. Puppy parties are also a fun way of allowing your dog
to socialise in a controlled environment.
Early socialising is essential for your puppy to develop into a well-behaved, confident
and happy dog. We recommend you bring your puppy as early as possible, as soon as
it’s had its first vaccinations, as reactions and related behaviour in a young dog
can quickly become habit forming. This is great in a dog that’s behaving well, but
not so in a nervous puppy.
“
Seeing Diesel romping happily with other dogs was brilliant. He’s becoming more
confident every day.”

If you’ve not been to a puppy party before, look out! You’re in for some fun! Watching
your puppy explore and make friends is truly rewarding, but the sessions are also
a chance for you to learn about caring for your dog. We’ll talk you through recommended
vaccinations, diet, exercise, grooming, parasite control, pet insurance and training.
There are exercises for you to try with your puppy too; these include teeth brushing.
Because our puppy parties are so popular they are by invite only and are booked
on a first come, first served basis. We hold the sessions once a week in the evenings,
over three weeks at our central Brighton surgery in Kemp Town. There’s secure, free
off-street parking here, or if you’re traveling by bus, there are several buses
that stop outside on Eastern Road.
