Weight Watchers
Our Weight Watchers Clubs are run by our trained nurses from four of our local surgeries:
Brighton, Rottingdean, Portslade and Shoreham.
“
Thanks to the help and advice I received from the Weight Watching Clinic, my dog
Barmy was a finalist at the Hills Pet Slimmer of the Year competition.”

They can offer practical help and advice on managing diet, exercise and related
behaviour. Pets can get overweight for several reasons, a health problem, lack of
exercise or the wrong diet. If you're worried about your pet’s weight make an appointment
with one of our nurses for professional advice.
At your first Weight Watchers appointment, your pet will receive a full health check
and be given a practical, achievable programme to encourage weight loss. The programme
will include advice on diet and exercise, taking into account your pet's age and
your lifestyle. You will be asked to attend the clinic for regular weigh-ins so
that your pet's progress can be monitored and giving you the chance to discuss any
problems that you might be having.
