Acupuncture Clinic
Our Acupuncture Clinic is held on Wednesday afternoon at Coastway Kemp Town and
on a Tuesday and Thursday morning at Coastway Portslade. It is headed by Guy Liebenberg
MSc BVSc MRCVS. It is best to call Guy to discuss your individual case and to arrange
the appointment. If these times are not suitable then other appointment days can
be arranged.
Guy has specialised in Acupuncture since 2007 when he completed the Association
of British Veterinary Acupuncturists foundation course and the electro-acupuncture
course. This allowed him to start practicing as a veterinary acupuncturist where
he has been achieving great success with dogs, cats and small furries. Acupuncture
is suitable for the treatment of back pain, spondylosis, arthritis, strains and
sprains, lick granulomas and chronic skin conditions, urinary and feacal incontinence,
epilepsy, and lameness.
"My elderly cat Charlie had stopped getting onto the bed to relax with me in the
evening. After discussing the case with Guy he diagnosed lower back arthritis. He
started acupuncture and Charlie is now back to his old self.”
“Max my Labrador used to jump into the back of the car when we went out. When he
stopped I took him to Guy who diagnosed hip and knee arthritis and after 2 sessions
of acupuncture, he was getting into the car on his own again.”
