Professional Veterinary Training

Veterinary Nurses Qualifications

As one of the region’s leading veterinary groups, we make it our priority to deliver the best possible pet care. Brighton, Shoreham, Rottingdean, Woodingdean and Portslade, each of our five local surgeries feature modern diagnostic equipment and are equipped for every eventuality.

As a recognised professional training centre for the Royal Society of Veterinary Surgeons, trainee nurses join us to study for their NVQ in Veterinary Nursing. The vocational course is run over 2 years and trainee nurses work 4 days a week in the practice and study at college for one day a week. Over the 2 years they will produce an assessed portfolio of work, and have yearly exams, including a practical examination in their final year.

Our trainee programme is currently full. Any future vacancies will be posted on this page.
