Tony moved with his young family to Brighton in 1974 to open the first Coastway Surgery in Montague Place, Kemp Town. Now the senior partner of the practice his working day is spent mainly on management of the expanding group practice.

He enjoys the challenge of keeping Coastway modern and innovative in the rapidly developing world of veterinary medicine and surgery but admits to less enthusiasm in coping with the increasing mountain of regulatory paperwork that burdens any modern and progressive professional business!

Away from work life centres on the happy family of Rosemary and five grown up children some of whom now have children of their own; the current grandchild count is four. When time and weather permit Tony enjoys the outdoor life being a keen gardener and amateur landscaper. His other passion is music and being a classically trained violinist struts this talent playing bass guitar, violin, guitar and keyboards [not at the same time!] in a local ceilidh band.
