We opened our Rottingdean village surgery in 1994. Positioned in the village centre, just minutes from the sea, it’s become a familiar landmark for local residents. It’s headed by Andreas Schemel who as well as being a busy vet, is also our cardiology specialist, an international pedigree judge and Crufts Head Vet.
Our Rottingdean staff all live nearby and offer a huge amount of experience and expertise from what is one of our smaller sites. Consultations, minor operations, Nurses Clinics and their clubs for elderly, overweight pets and those with mobility issues, all take place here. There’s a car park on Marine Drive, just two minutes from our door, the cost of which we refund when you have an appointment, up to the price of one hour’s parking.
Our Rottingdean surgery will remain closed during the November lockdown. Our nearest open Coastway surgery offering appointments is at Telscombe.
Rabbit and ferret vaccinations are being done at our Brighton veterinary hospital and a limited number of emergency rabbit castrations are also available at Lewes and our Telscombe surgery. Any requests for repeat prescriptions, parasite control and food, can be emailed to [email protected]
Vetcall, our out-of-hours service is based at Brighton and is open for emergencies whenever Telscombe closes, their number is 01273 621682.
