We opened our Rottingdean village surgery in 1994. Positioned in the village centre, just minutes from the sea, it’s become a familiar landmark for local residents. It’s headed by Andreas Schemel who as well as being a busy vet, is also our cardiology specialist, an international pedigree judge and Crufts Head Vet.
Our Rottingdean staff all live nearby and offer a huge amount of experience and expertise from what is one of our smaller sites. Consultations, minor operations, Nurses Clinics and their clubs for elderly, overweight pets and those with mobility issues, all take place here. There’s a car park on Marine Drive, just two minutes from our door, the cost of which we refund when you have an appointment, up to the price of one hour’s parking.
Following the relaxation of lockdown rules, our Rottingdean surgery is open for appointments. We are still not allowing clients inside the surgery during consultations, but will collect your pet from you at the door for examination or treatment. Please follow the instructions on the door to check in when you arrive. If you are asked to enter the surgery, you will need to wear a mask and socially distance yourself from staff.
Any requests for repeat prescriptions, parasite control and food, can be emailed to [email protected]
If you need to see a vet urgently outside of normal surgery hours, Vetcall is our out-of-hours service which is based at our Brighton veterinary hospital. You can call Vetcall throughout the night, weekends and on bank holidays on 01273 621682.
