We opened our Rottingdean village surgery in 1994. Positioned in the village centre, just minutes from the sea, it’s become a familiar landmark for local residents. It’s headed by Andreas Schemel who as well as being a busy vet, is also our cardiology specialist, an international pedigree judge and Crufts Head Vet.
Our Rottingdean staff all live nearby and offer a huge amount of experience and expertise from what is one of our smaller sites. Consultations, minor operations, Nurses Clinics and their clubs for elderly, overweight pets and those with mobility issues, all take place here. There’s a car park on Marine Drive, just two minutes from our door, the cost of which we refund when you have an appointment, up to the price of one hour’s parking.
Our Rottingdean surgery is temporarily closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and government restrictions. Requests for repeat prescriptions, parasite control and food, can be emailed to [email protected]
If you need to see a vet urgently, our Telscombe, Brighton and Shoreham surgeries are open for emergencies and are also offering telephone consultations.
Our Woodingdean surgery is open for overdue dog and cat vaccinations on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Urgent vaccination appointments are also available at Shoreham and Telscombe.
Rabbit and ferret vaccinations are being done at our Brighton veterinary hospital and a limited number of emergency rabbit castrations are also available here and at our Telscombe surgery.
