Based in the west of the city, our Portslade vet surgery is one of our largest and busiest. With multiple treatment rooms, surgical, diagnostic and laboratory facilities, it can offer most treatments and therapies. As well as veterinary appointments it also offers Nurses Clinics. These are with our experienced nursing team and cover everything from routine and post operative checks, to diet and behaviour advice.
There’s several free, off street parking spots at the surgery and it’s close to the Portslade train station, ideal for clients without cars. There are also several bus routes that stop on Boundary Road and on the Old Shoreham Road, which is two minutes from our door.
Our Portslade surgery has reopened and is offering appointments for vaccinations, boosters and emergency neutering. If you have an appointment at Portslade, please call us from outside to let our receptionist know that you have arrived. Try to arrive on time as we are operating a ‘one in, one out’ policy for appointments to minimise the risk to clients and staff. When you call, our staff will let you know the plan for your appointment and they will come out to you when it’s your time to see the vet. All clients should bring a mask or face covering to their appointment as you may be asked to come inside to pay. Clients are still not allowed inside consulting rooms because of the need to socially distance and you may be asked to liaise with the vet via a phone.
If you have any queries regarding our new appointment protocol for Portslade, speak to our team before you visit us. Requests for repeat prescriptions, parasite control and food, can be emailed to [email protected].
Emergency appointments are available during normal surgery hours, outside of this Brighton our Veterinary Hospital can help. Telephone appointments are also available, please speak to reception for details.
